Ava is a London-based independent documentary filmmaker and photographer whose work tends to amplify marginalised stories and explore topical issues. She currently works professionally as a shooting producer director at a social enterprise video production company. She pitches, directs, scripts, produces and shoots short-form video content for artists, charities and institutions.
She holds a first-class BA degree from Goldsmiths University in Media and Communications specialising in documentary film and her final project won best documentary at an international film festival. Her photography has featured in arts magazines. She was chosen to participate in the Sheffield DocFest 2025 Amplify Production Talent Scheme. She has undertaken training in cinematography at Raindance Film School and archive producing at Four Corners.
